I make my annual trip to Mayowood trail around Mothers’ day to be lost in the wonders of bluebells. Almost iridescent colors of blue and purple stretch out to the horizon as far as I can see. The fragrance of spring flowers combined with the smell of woody moisture takes me to a wonderland. In this painting, the bluebell field was lit by the glorious evening light to enhance the charm of the place.
