9x12, oil on board, plein air painting with palette knife
painted at the 10th Tee at Rochester Golf and Country Club, MN
It is not uncommon to lose a ball on a golf course. What relief it is to find the ball with your friend’s help. This narrative is happening on the 13th fairway at the Rochester Golf and Country Club. I am standing on the 10th tee and painting.
The scene was soft light, a pleasant breeze, the fragrance of summer flowers, and, of course, two good friends.
