It is my annual joy to greet the bluebells in early May in Rochester. Bluebells grow in very selective woodlands and last only for a week once bloomed. This year I was fortunate to be invited to paint on the grounds of Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch. Not to miss the prime flowering bluebells, I visited the place a few times in advance before the day I painted this bluebell wood.
