Studio painting from a Plein air painting
I have been painting bluebells for many years; it is one of my favorite subjects in springtime. When I am out there in front of the carpet of flowering bluebells, I am so delighted. This painting was made in the studio based on a small Plein air painting. It was a fresh morning with the crisp light in the woodlands. I was surrounded by full Spring. What a gift of the moment!
