Cascade Meadow Nature Center is one of my favorite places in Rochester. This 100 acres of nature changes its color and mood every time.
This was painted on a cloudy day morning in late September. The light was cool which made the warmth of the foreground colors even more intense. I painted at this place on a sunny day a couple of years ago. It was fun to compare the two paintings to see the difference in my paintings.
