This is one of my favorite spots in Hampton Lake. Each time I pass by, I take a second look. When I finally had a chance to do Plein air painting, it was calm mid-morning. I made a quick sketch before any disturbances by boats or kayaks. Later in my studio, I savored it as I reconstructed the moment.
