Happy Mother's Day!

I am sending this bouquet along with sweet fragrance of ranunculus flowers. I still remember the joy of having this bouquet in my studio. It was pure delight to all my senses. I was thrilled to be able to paint it!

I didn't do much painting last month though; I was preoccupied with preparation for my biggest project; '40 paintings at Cascade Meadow'. Now the Show is on! Yea!!

Thanks to Scott Walker, Director of Cascade Meadow, the display looks very nice. Having all 40 paintings in view together, you can follow the seasonal changes in light and color of Cascade Meadow throughout the year. The beauty of this place is truly remarkable.

I hope you will come and discover it yourself. The artist reception is on May 20 (Saturday), 1-3pm. Scott and I will talk about the Center and the paintings. I am happy to report that more than 10 paintings are already spoken for and the proceeds will fund a Summer Student Internship to benefit the Center.

The center is open 10am-4pm on Tuesday-Friday,

It is located at 2900 19th St. NW, Rochester, MN.
