Rochester Garden and Flower Club has an annual garden tour where six to seven outstanding gardens are selected each year for the showcase and fundraising. I was invited to make a plein air painting at this gorgeous garden during the event in July. Despite the fickle summer weather, gardeners were just happy to see others' gardens. They were enthusiastically sharing and exploring the expertise on gardening. I felt so fortunate to enjoy this garden without any digging or cutting... A great benefit of being an artist!!

Another thing I occasionally do as an artist is to verbally share my Art with audience. This time I had an opportunity to speak at my home church on my faith and Art. As an artist, I pursue the beauty and splendor of God's Creation. Every moment is alive in His light. I respond in gratitue for this endless wonder in my paintings. I hope my paintings will be guided by His presence and will bring joy to the heart of the viewers.
