I had a week of painting at Napa County Vineyards with a couple of painting friends in August. We had so much fun; we were painting, painting, and painting all day, and we ended our day with a glass of wine from the winery where we painted during the day. We also watched the eclipse on August 21 at the courtyard of Castello di Amorosa winery. I completed 6 paintings from the trip. The opportunity to paint in such beautiful places was truly rare to come by. Especially with recent wildfires in Napa County, I don't think the place will be the same. I feel so sad for the homes and wineries affected by the devastating fire.
