Happy belated Valentine's Day to you! This bouquet is for you who didn't get flowers this year. I loved getting flowers and tried different ways to keep the moment longer by drying the flowers, etc, until one day I told my husband that I'd rather have something that would last longer than flowers. However, it put smiles on my face when I saw many men getting a bouquet on Valentine's day. It is a good custom to express the love in a tangible way. So here is my bouquet for you, and this one will last a long, long time.

Antartica!! My husband and I celebrated the 40th anniversary by joining the expedition to Antartica, one on the bucket list. It was a very unforgettable trip in many ways. I also had a big plan of making Plein air paintings during the trip. But the luggage didn't make it with us. Despite the mishaps, I was overwhelmed by the beauty, pristine beauty of the 7th continent. At times, I almost felt we were intruding a special sanctuary. Now back in my studio, I hope to recreate this special place in my paintings; Antarctica Series.
