Antarctica expedition was on my bucket list. When it finally happened in January, summer in Antarctica, many friends questioned my wisdom to see more snow and ice in the middle of Minnesota winter. The beauty and power of this Seventh Continent were literally awesome.
Although my attempt to do Plein Air paintings was not actualized due to the luggage mishap, I am going to express and evoke Antarctica in my studio paintings: Antarctica Series.
